Crimson Pours

by Destiny | Score: 2900

I was frozen, unable to move, I couldn't, no, wouldn't move. My mind was screaming to do something, anything, but my body quit responding, thinking that keeping quiet was the best survival method.
Though my heart was racing, my vision saw everything at a turtle's pace. Blood was everywhere, it poured down the bank clerk's side and head.
Everyone else was just as shocked as I was, all except for my friend and years-long crush, Lio. I knew that look in his eyes, it was unmistakable, he was going to do something stupid, something that would no doubt get him shot, or worse, killed. Quickly, quicker than I that I could move given the circumstances. I took ho,d of the ugly quilt he always wore around his shoulder.
The man with the gun, who was looking for some kind of important data had a man, maybe the manager or something, sit in front of a laptop he brought with him.
Another man who was assigned to watch over us was leaning against the wall playing with a deck of cards like this was all some sort of joke.
" hey" My idiot shouted before I could stop him.
