That Day At the Bank

The morning started just like most; stop for coffee on the way to the office, greet the barista as she hands me my coffee (pre-made, love those mobile apps!), drive over two blocks to the bank, park and head to the door. I enter the code on the pad next to the entry, look into the camera, and the door opens (magic! my father would say, if he were still on this side of the grass).  I use my key to unlock the cage and open it a bit so that the rest of the staff can come in when they arrive, and look around the teller's area before going over to the platform, where my desk awaits. Behind the line, I see that Eduardo's station is a hot mess (as usual); I really do have to talk to him about that, again, when
