Rage room

by Anonymous | Score: 5600

I take a deep breath, a deep breath before I swing at the glass. I have a hammer in my hands and I refuse to let it fall. I pick it up with my shaking up and I swing on the wooden bench. I look over at my dad who is an idle acupuncturist, he swings his own hammer and a glass shatters and small pieces.  I open everything I can to let out all of my rage as I destroy this entire room.  I look over at the wall and I notice that the wall has an indent that looks like a wishbone. I lost my job and my father had the grand idea of bringing me to a rage room to let out all my worries and just break things instead of my insides.  My brother made everything worse by saying I should have become an independent roofer like he is, and that I am a family disappointment. That made my pain worse and my dad had the grand idea of bringing me here with me. I with I had another card to play in this game but I don't. I only hope that the earthquake expected to hit soon runs around our town, or I really will be in trouble. My mother is a careers advisor and told me that this is normal for a person my age but I don't believe her.  I started working on my novel and I have never been happier, but never more stressed about bills. My parents did say that I could live with them while working on my novel, but I think that would make me more of a disappointment. Not only that my parents and I would fight far to much than either of us would ever admit.  At least just for the time being
