Time Travel

by Annette Mykayla Hernandez | Score: 5600

I wash my hands and feel a rumble. I put some soap on my hands but when I look up I see myself ten years in the past in the mirror and shriek in horror. I remember today. I remember my feelings hope this is a terrible dream. A knock comes to the door, my bodyguard Tim's voice rings out.
"Are you okay in there?" Time asks in concern.
"Yes I am ok, thank you," I respond easily.
I head out the door and see my grandmother and mother who passes away ten years ago in a car accident. I traveled back in time due to wish to kill the drunk driver who killed my mother and grandmother. I sit down on my seat and pick up my fork to eat my salad with craisins. My mother smiles at me and mouths if I am ok, to which all I can respond is with a mere head nod. I am ok now that I am able to regain my bareings.
"Your father was able to get out with that bailiff. the man was very uncertain but your father managed," my mother smiles lightly and I smile back.
My mother and grandmother are astronomers, which I believe is quite dull, though they seem to enjoy their work very well.
"Civilization has come to an end with all these children yelling about rocks falling from skies," my grandmother mutters.
"Mom," my mother says, "Sometimes it is better to keep your thoughts your self. For the sake of not sounding ridiculous," she sighs.
"I taught you to speak out about things, don't be so ashamed," my grandmother sparks back.
"I think is world peace is a construct that only certain time periods believe they have achived, but actually never truly happend due to human nature," I say to both my mother and grandmother.
"That's my girl," my grandmother says to me. I twist my bangle bracelet nervously. I do my very best to not call about anyone here
