Oh no

by Carla Perea | Score: 2000

I promised has promised that it would never happen again. My boss, my wife, everyone warned me against it. Yet there I was, I was doing it. But I couldn't, I really couldn't. So I dropped it, I let it slip from my hand and shatter on the ground. The alcohol coated the kitchen floor, and shards of glass embedded themselves in my bear feet. I reached for the phone. He rang his Boss, he wouldn't be able to go into work the next day. A hungover engineer, didn't do a good job. He reached for the bottle of syrup to his left, hoping it would help him sober up to talk to his boss. The phone rang and rang, but no one picked up. He walked across the kitchen to his computer, not caring about the pain from the sharp shards digging into his feet. As he reached his computer he noticed it was dead. He plugged it in, but his alcohol soaked hands and electricity didn't go well together.
