Mission Space

The engine rattled to life and then died down, the suit she wore blinked in warning. Just the oxygen tank reminding her it was almost empty, again... Her space ship was no closer to fixed than it had been a few days ago. The crew she had traveled with gone lost to the space of, well space.
Judging by the shuttering of the engine she doubted she would get the ship back up and running. The map given to her before leaving Earth now sat by her side. Supposedly there was a factory up here in which extra supplies from Earth were stored. The distance wasn't that extreme, and she was in desperate need of more jugs of oxygen.
Just a trip there and back, it shouldn't be that hard, she didn't have much of a choice anyways. With the amount of oxygen she had to make the trip. Sighing she abandoned the ship, maybe she would be able to find some parts to fix the broken engine there too. She had pushed this trip off long enough, she needed the oxygen.
Starting up her jeep, she quickly glanced at the map before starting on her way. The factory couldn't be that far off. Pushing her foot to the gas, she sped forward as fast as a tiger. The cold air shivered through the planet, a never ending winter chill. Another reason she had never ventured out before, but the factory was not far, and she had no other choice.
