Sirens played in the distance. racing towards us. i just sat dusting the mantlepiece with a feather duster. "Oi boss, shouldn't we start moving?" the man said behind me. "No we have to wait for the Artistic Craft to help clean up and hide up. we cant just leave poor Lucy here lying bleeding out."
"But the she's dead now and the police are on their way. "
"They are on their way now. The plane is about to land"
I look at my watch then count down till there is a giant crash and the sirens silenced.
"There is the plane and the officials are distracted. we wait." I walked over and turned on the air conditioning but it made a weird sound. 'must be broken i thought' and then i saw a blinking light inside.
"RUN. ITS SET TO EXPLODE."
i ran for nearest window, exiting the building by jumping out. Thank god we were on the ground floor. just as i landed the building exploded, thankfully missing me. i got up slightly unsure of my surroundings until i saw a xylophone just sitting with a letter on it in front of me. i walked over and picked up this mysterious letter. i opened it to see a selection of candy wrappers before a small note that just said, 'sadly the explosion was meant for you'.
'Did they know that i would be able to escape? Who would do this?'
