The Strange Creature

by Destiny | Score: 2550

Opening my eyes, I saw nothing, will, not nothing, just darkness, I guess that could also count as nothing though. I'm dreaming, no, was dreaming.
Something woke me, but what? There's a strange noise, why have I not notice before. Turning my head I saw what I first saw when opening my eyes, darkness, you would think at least the light from the moon would give some light, no matter how dull it may be.
I was about to go back to bed, but just as I rolled over to do so I heard a voice behind.
"Breakfast is served." It croaked in a raspy tone.
As terrified as I was I couldn't help but notice the very prominent smell that came from whatever it was. I was like a tube of toothpaste, the smell of mint and plastic.
Suddenly I felt a cold something touch my back, it was light a hard feather or a playing card. Its giggling was not unlike glass shattering amusing itself like a childish clockmaker with their first watch, just tinkering about, not doing anything.
