The baby from upstairs starts to cry.
Not to be unexpected. The air conditioner is on high, blasting frost throughout the room. The women from across the street stares out her window. She hasn't slept in days. tormented by the lose of her baby.
She sees from afar the baby's window becoming fogging, frost at the edges. In her mind the house is freezing. The babe is on it's own, it's cries going unheard, The women needs to do something, anything.
Theres no time to think, she moves quickly and pulls a wooden-drawer from her kitchen. From within she grabs match. She turns and starts running, bumping into the table, a basket of tomatos falling over.
When she out the door, the air does not feel bitter as she first thought, she places a hand on her forehead. Sharp needles prick at her head. She shakes the pain off, running toward her neigh
