I looked at her face, a strange sense of familiarity came over me. She didn't feel the same way, obviously, she just stared at me like i was some freak. Nevermind. "Thank you," I told her briefly, a polite smile plastered neatly on my face. Her nod was simple in return. I quickly opened the package eagerly, inside it was a small tube of toothpaste. "That's not right," I muttered to myself. Quickly I looked out through my window to see if the lady was still outside. To my confusion she was in the same exact position as I left her in when she closed the door. I opened it, a small creaking sound emerging from wood and hinges. "Er, hello?" I asked with my emotions towards her being there clear in my voice. "Lad-" I was cut off by a squeaking sound and a wet substance that was sprayed on my eyes. My eyes started to spin in my head, my brain becoming fuzzy and succumbing to the darkness that the liquid was begging me to give in to.
I don't know when i next opened my eyes, I'm not sure if it was 2 minutes or 2 days. When my pupils were next given light, i was sitting rather uncomfortably in a chair. My neck had been slumped and so a small sore spot was starting to grow, not helping my bad mood. "What the fu-" I was once again cut off, but this time by a voice. "Sorry for the interruption, but no inappropriate language can be used in this room."
"What, wh- you know what, nevermind... Where on earth am i?" I asked angrily. The voice was an old man, dressed in an cheap suit that looked expensive, the way he held himself made him seem important, though it was obvious that it was all an illusion that only really fooled himself. Next to him was another man. Someone who wore expensive clothes, the other man seemed poor in front of him , he would be the kind of man who shone in a dark room
