A Normal Day (or not)

It was a normal day at work and quite boring, if you ask me. I had just finished dealing with a suspicious curious curator when I received a call from my friend that their grandma had died. She wondered if I could fill in for her. I asked if I could borrow her safety goggles and she said yes. I told her thanks and trundled out of work. Only as I was walking out of the building and down the street, I asked someone if they needed help. Then they vanished. I admit, it shook me up considerably. Shaking it off, I continued on my way. Unfortunately, I bumped into a confident building laborer who thought he could get away with anything. I was very disgruntled but continued very quickly as I was becoming late. Then, of all things, a street man challenged me to a game of hopscotch. I complied with very little grace and of course, lost. I passed a kitchen utensil booth and since I needed a pasta strainer, I bought one. It was vast and deep, perfect for making pasta for the acupuncturist. She was a little uncertain, but still did a good job. Finally arriving at home, I squeezed the last out of my tube of toothpaste and had to get another one so I could brush my teeth. While brushing, I was thinking of what to make for supper. I decided to pick up some ingredients for pasta. What
