Max laughed uncontrollably, rolling on the ground. He wheezed and wheezed as he tried to fix his breathing.
Hugh stood over him, glaring at the fact that the mention of the feather duster had brought upon this laughing bout.
Said feather duster sat innocently next to the stack of books that Hugh was supposed to be taking care of for his girlfriend.
"I can't believe this is what sends you over the edge," Max said, "A stupid joke about an old feather duster."
Mrs. Jeller appeared behind Hugh, coffee mug balanced tediously on the edge of the tray.
"Breakfast is served, boys." She said. It scared Max whenever she did that.
As an inventor, Max would say an average one, having quiet people sneak up on you while you were concentrating was not fun.
Especially since some important data from a project had been stolen a few weeks ago.
Hugh finally got a hold of himself enough to say from the floor, "Thanks for breakfast, Mirs. Jeller."
