Supermarket Storm

by Anonymous | Score: 3100

The tunder rumbled ominously outside the large windows of the supermarket. the rain had only just started to fall so it was only small pelettes at the moment, it was safe at the moment, but Jaime knew it would soon get worse. She backed away from the windows, she couldn't look at the sky any longer, when she almost tripped over a toy plane that had zoomed underneath her feet. A kind man in dentist scrubs came and picked it up, apologised, and then then ran back to his son who was sitting on the ground a way away watching.
Jaime walked back over to her friends as she heard the rain start to fall heavyer outside. her friends were in the freezer aisle looking at the pizzas and deciding which kind they were going to have for their tea. Owen, who had wondered off previously turned the courner into the aisle as well, holding a bottle of hot sauce that only he would eat beacue all the others hated it.
At that moment a woman burst through the doors and shut them behind her. "There's been a weather warning" she cried "no one is alowed to go outside until the storm has passed". there were several groans from the shoppers following this statement.
It was late at night so luckily there weren't that many people in the store, but it was still a pain that this had to happen the day before Jaime's big history final.
They got to the end of the aisle and Jaime and Darcy wandered over to the aromatherapy stall they had recently set up in the store.
