The Lord of the Rings

by J. R. R. Tolkein | Score: 3150

I fall to the ground unaware of the strength my opponent held. I shakily stand up, my vision split and my head spinning. I swing at both of him and manage to land a devastating shot. I could see the beads of sweat fly off his face as I struck him. then another hit, then another I could see blood start to cake on his face like a soy sauce packet on rice. as I realized that this fight was still in my grasp and maybe I wasn't nearly as unprepared as I thought. as I swung my fists mindlessly i could tell it wasn't so mindless at all and more of an art. Each swing of my fist like the stroke of a paintbrush and in that moment I felt like a modern Van Gogh. but just as my thoughts overwhelmed me so did his quick and furious strikes against me. as he landed a barrage of strikes against me  I could feel my head getting light and my vision becoming blurry, almost as if I was blind. I stepped back like a turtle tucking his head in his shell to regroup and think of a plan of escape. But this was not even close to an escape, more of a mandatory step back.
