The pain was great, I couldn't stop the river a tears streaming down my face. My mind to help cope with the pain took me back to a certain memory, one I will cherish for the rest of my life. I listened to the piano as I talked with my husband, your father.
I was pulled from the memory when I heard the doctor yell out. " Push!"
I did as told, pushing as hard as I could, more pain followed. Finally, after what seemed like a lifetime of agony, I heard loud screaming, your screaming. You looked so beautiful, I fell deeper in love with you.
" A child is born." The doctor said, bringing you closer for me to see.
I soon held you in my arms as you slept peacefully, your father gifting you with your first toy, a plush dog that was bigger than you, how you loved that thing.
I'm rambling, sorry. I'll get to the point, I know you're confused and no doubt scared, but you have no reason to be sweetheart.
This power, this gift, I once thought was a curse but I see now how much of a treasure it is, to travel through time at will, a true gift
