"GAAAA!" I curdled in pain. My eyes, I'm blind! I feel my wristwatch rub against my cheek. Because I can't see the time I don't know what time it is. My runny nose doesn't help the situation much. How would I get home? Would I have to go homeless and in search for a new job? Would the insurence of the old job that had blinded me allow me to get a new job or maybe hire a talented mortician? Who knew if I was to live or die! My life hung on the edge.
"I don't wanna go!" I yelled into the night. No one heard, or at least I thought so until a person tapped my on the shoulders and said, "Want to help me solve a murder?"
Shocked I said, "I'm blind dude! Can't you see that I'm suffering! The least you could do is hand me the tissue box." I heard the guy shuffling around and poke me on the sho8ulder again.
"Here." A tissue box was shoved into my hands and I grabbed them blowing away my snot.
"So what are you doing here?" The guy said. I could hear that he was shuffling again and let out a grunt as he sat on the floor.
"I was an acupuncturist," I declared. "My company's staff were fools. One tripped, I think he was drinking on the job, and stabbed me in the eye! And if that weren't bad enough, his breath had smelled like he had eaten rotten eggs for breakfast!" I sank down to the floor miserable not caring if my perfectly tidy jeans got ruined. Nothing mattered now.
"How'd you loose the other eye?"
"Heh?" I said.
"How'd you loose the other eye?" He repeated.
"Oh, I all started when I was supposed to give a touchy firefighter an X- ray. It had gone wrong and he had blamed the big x on his back on me! I hadn't done anything wrong he had! If only he had specified more on what kind of x ray he wanted rather than just socking me in the eye. My poor eye is ruined now." There was silence. The bangle bracelet in my pocket jangled a bit.
"Oh," The man said." I see"
