For a Pair of Jays

by Capring | Score: 1750

I never really watched the news. One day, a friend had told me that sometimes, it could really be interesting. That day, I decided that maybe he was right. So I grabbed a banana from the fruit bowl on the center of the table, and sat down on the couch. I opened my computer, turned on the program he recommended, and started watching. When it began, I was reminded why I stuck to my books - hence my job as a book-keeper. A bank had been robbed by a junior. A teenager. He'd shot the manager, as well as an officer before getting getting shot himself. it was a gory scene, and I couldn't keep watching it when they started describing the autopsy process. My computer shut down, and I went to bed. The first thing I did, was pull out my Bible. I needed the Lord before I could start praying for the spirit of the suffering child of such a cruel, trapped mind. For only the troubled partook in such activities as to rob a bank for a pair of Jays.
