Dear Diary

by Daniel Tighe | Score: 3900

Dear diary,

I can fly. Seriously. Like Superman.

I know it doesn't SOUND believable but I swear on my firefighting dad I can. I was just walking down the street when suddenly some dude offered me some of those magic markers. I haven't seen them in years and, as you know as you are probably the world's oldest diary, they WERE my childhood. I spent way more time messing with those stupid markers than I think ANYONE was intended to. So obviously I bought a pack from him.

Anyway, back to the more pressing matters... When I got home, I opened the pack, got them all out and a massive sheet of paper and began my, what was supposed to be seventeen hours, doodling session. However, something was off about these pens. And I mean SERIOUSLY off. I couldn't draw a single thing with them. It's not like they weren't putting down ink, but they refused to follow any orders I gave them. Instead, they used me to draw this weird pentagram thing and the next thing I know my room is pitch black, I see a man in a fancy suit, almost looking like a bodyguard, standing off in the distance, then almost as fast as it happened, I'm back in my room, pens and paper gone, and replaced with that locket my dad gave me before he passed away...

Anyway... You know all the details of that... Back to the main reason I started writing in you again. I can fly. Like superman. My hearing went for a while but it's coming back now. Eitherway, I'd say that hearing loss is a small price to pay for FLIGHT!
