A Night to Forget

My face twists into a disgruntled expression as I heave the boxes into the trunk of the tractor-trailer. shoving in the last of the boxes, I slide the rear shut. I give a thumbs up to the driver as I back away from the truck. Finally. My shift is over. I can go home. I walk into the parking lot and get into my old Sedan. When I get home, I see voice messages on the recording machine. When did those appear?
