He stalked into the agency wearing all black and ready to kick butt. It was four in the morning. All the workers were gone and he, Taylor Green, top spy, was all alone.
He tiptoed over to the computers and sifted through the files.
"Green, Green," He muttered searching. Then he found it.
He clicked the file called Green, Laura. Opening up the file, he was overwhelmed by filtered photos and finally got to the end of the file.
His mouse hovered over the trash.
"I'm sorry," he whispered then deleted the file. In that instant, a picture of a wedding ring dissolved off the screen and he looked away.
"But I had to," He whispered.
The alarms for the dating agency went off.
The pawnbroker had to keep himself from wacking his head. He shook his head exasperated.
"If you would only listen," He said. The other person in the room, his boss, shook her head.
"I've listened to enough." She said waving a dismissive hand at him. "I don't need to hear any more."
