Why, why do you sit. You don’t talk. You don’t say a word. What has happened? What did I do? What did I do to make you sit there? Sit there and cry? Is it your work? Is it me, or what? What is it? When will I know? Your bow sits on the counter, did you go hunting? Oh dad what did you do? Is it your friends, that technician make you feel dumb again? What is it, dad? You finally open your mouth, what do you say,
“I don’t want to talk, just go away.”
What did I do what did I say, to make you feel that way? You always leave without saying a word, where do you go, I just don’t know. Where do you go, I just never know. Did you go out back, to smoke ‘til the air turns black? Or did you go to your friends? Well I don’t know, and now you tell me just to leave. Leave, just leave. Did you go out in the garage to go play with your tools, your clamp, your hammer, your saw. Where you go, I just don’t know. Where you go, I just don’t know. Ahh, you say,
