The people did the things, and successfully achieved world peace. It was simpler than people thought it would be. All they really had to do was find one really big thing that absolutely everybody had in common. Once they figured it out, it was incredible that this glaringly obvious solution was staring everyone in the face the whole time. Everybody needs tissue boxes.

But how did we come up with this incredible solution? Surely humanity began at such a terrible, hopeless point that finding success in achieving world peace would take a miracle. Oh, it took a miracle all right. The miracle of love.

It all began when Jonathan, a young non-binary sailor was slowly crossing the Aegean sea met a young woman in the port city of Flaffleafagoose, named Nadine. The moment they saw her, they knew that it was love at first sight. Nadine had a penchant for soccer, and challenged Jonathan to a game of soccer. As he was preparing to kick the soccer ball for the very first time, Nadine's sister ran into the field.

"Mother has food poisoning!" Nadine's sister cried out.

"But that is impossible!" Nadine replied. She apologized profusely to Jonathan and asked if they would be willing to reschedule their soccer game for another day.

Jonathan was disappointed, but understood that Nadine had an obligation to her family. They sought comfort in their childhood toy plane, which they carried with them everywhere they went, even in adulthood.

Meanwhile, Nadine and her sister, Sarah, went to the local pharmacist for some medicine for their mother. The pharmacist was overjoyed at receiving their business, for Nadine's mother was very wealthy and would be sure to provide a generous donation to the pharmacy for his help. As the pharmacist was spending 60 full minutes typing on his computer while Nadine and her sister, Sarah watched the medication sit idly on the shelf behind him, they saw a flash of green light in the window.

They ran outside, alarmed, and discovered that aliens were invading Earth! Sarah, who had been holding a coffee mug full of her favourite green tea, dropped the mug in surprise. She was an advertising executive of relative
