"What did you do?!" Boomed a stern voice, sounding like it was coming from all sides.
"Shhh, stop shouting. You'll wake him," whispered a softer voice, trying to calm the first person down.
"Stop shouting? Stop shouting?! I will shout all I want when an idiot brings a stranger from two hundred years in the past into my home!"
"Listen, it's not that bad," said the soft voice trying to diffuse the situation.
"How will you get him back, then?"
"I'll think of something!"
"Lyla!"
"Wait, wait look! He's awake!"
I looked over to see two women standing over the bed I was laying on, my head pounding as I tried to wipe the sleep from my eyes.
"Where am I?" I asked, looking down at myself. I was still in my soccer uniform, the grass stains and dirt still staining my socks. My cleats were missing from my feet, but a quick look around the room revealed them to be in the corner with a soccer ball.
"Oh, about that..."
"Where do you think you are?" The woman with the stern voice asked.
I looked at the two women in confusion. I looked around the room as well, to find that it was relatively normal. There was a bed, a door, a window, a desk with a computer on top of it in the corner.
"In your house?" I guessed.
The softer-spoken one, who I presumed the stern woman addressed as 'Lyla' smiled at me and nodded.
