Someone cries for help as the community surrounding the town hall. Ten people had been killed, the son of Mrs. Jacbos was one of them. She missed her child. She recalled reading him the book "Into The Wild," every night and feared the loss of a loved one, so prevalent in the book. Inside her mind was nothing but sheer sadness and dark at the loss of her son. She wandered the town in solitude, crying for help to be complete once more. After her husband had passed she was nothing less than a miserable warden aiding children as they crossed the busy roads to school. Mrs. Jacobs' life was bland. The gaps of her loss were only somewhat filled by her job. One morning as she was aiding kids in crossing to school, she stared deep into one boys' eyes, whose had reminded her so much of her sons. She looked at the deep blue of his eyes, then a purple haze covered the road, to where she could no longer see the boy, or her own arm even. She tried to navigate to her desk but couldn't.  Before she knew it, the aliens had taken over, roaming the street, needing her assistance in crossing the bizarre road, behaving as if they were schoolchildren. The aliens were not vicious, they had the heads of vipers and lanky bodies. Although they were not necessarily victorious in taking over the Earth, they had settled. The wealthy left on planet Earth resided in a club, guarded by an ambitious bodyguard who showed no fear of aliens. His name, Mr. Jacobs, Mrs. Jacobs' late husband. He was not actually dead, but rather abducted by the aliens previously and dropped back on earth after probing. The next morning, Mrs. Jacobs awoke to television and saw her husband protecting the wealthy club from an alien siege, realizing this, she embarked on a new start in life. She looked into her necklace and saw the last gift he gave her, a deck of playing cards, the queen of her life. All of the sudden, she was gone, out the door, and into her station wagon down the road. She began to search for her lost husband to claim back the life she ever so wanted. In such a hurry, she crashed her car into a stop sign. She could hardly move, around 10 minutes later, a stern paramedic came to her aid. He jerked her out of her car and onto a gurney into the rigid ambulance. They drove but suddenly came to a halt at a barricade on the main road. The city bank was being robbed and the police established blockades to prevent getaways. Mrs. Jacobs waited in the ambulance as a hostage scenario took root in the bank. The paramedic took a sip of coffee from his mug and whispered under his breath, "it's gonna be a long night," he then injected Mrs. Jacobs with a stimulant to prevent her from feeling any worse pain from the accident. He got up and went to the front of the ambulance where he guessed the robbery would have come to an end. Graciously, the officers gla
