The Miracle Child

by Sapphira of the Firebirds | Score: 3900

BOOM! In the aftermath of the plane crash, only a baby's crying could be heard. There was dust and damaged ruins all around them, but the dark-haired babe somehow knew she had to cry, scream her worth to the world and make sure they could never forget her. In the corner of the plane, one of the pieces that had survived had been a pudding cup, out of all the things. The baby sat there looking at it for the first few days, screaming her head off but never sleeping for the fear she wouldn't wake up. The poor child didn't have a way to contact life, and her brain wasn't developed enough to use one anyways. Two days later, an adventurous barbarian who traveled to islands found the wreckage, and the tiny dark-haired babe who lay wailing in the centre. He picked her up and traveled through the rest of the island, avoiding hurricanes, storms, and even at one point, an earthquake. He raised her on that island, where her family had died, and named the child Luna, after the moon they looked up to every single night. One day, when Luna was twelve, they found a radio from the wreckage and called in the wreak, so that the local police could come in and investigate what had happened to the plane to cause it to crash. An ambitious handyman had sabotaged the plane!
