I move my hands to my lap, pressing my palms into each other to avoid smirking. My bracelets hit against each other, making a joyous laugh of a sound. The air around us stills, the ornate white walls crashing down in a claustrophobic's worst nightmare. 
"So," I can't help myself, I laugh at the strangled snort that exits his throat. I all but fall out of my seat, clutching my legs weakly. The position of my seat sends all my joyous song directly into Aeron's ear, but I doubt he notices. 
The Prince of the Kingdom is bent over in silent laughter, clutching his stomach as he wheezes. His mouth opens and closes quickly, like a fish gasping for air. 
"Be careful," I shout through strained breathing. "If you die I'll be sent to jail!" 
As if I have sent a bullet through his mother, Aeron stills, laughter whisked away like a dying breath. He clears his throat and stands. I, an expert at reading rooms, let my laughter die out, eyes wide with concern. The silence hangs between us for a long moment. 
"I have matters to attend to." He says finally, making for the door.
