The Assistant

by Cora Dietrich | Score: 4150

"Ahhhhh I can't see!" My hands shot up to my face and covered my eyes. Why is it black.
My best friend reached for the nearest object. All she could find was a pack of seeds that she held in front of my face. "Can you see this?" She shouted.  "No, all I can see is black." My best friend watched as a big guy stomped in. What the heck is he doing here. The guy carried a large mysterious letter as he stomped in. He was so barbarous as he walked, shaking the ground as he moved in. I yelled at him, "Why are you so barbarous?" He yelled back "Don't be so rude, I am sensitive." He handed me the letter and grabbed a large whip that he pulled from his back pocket. He glared at me and threatened to hit me if I said any more. I opened the letter. It was titled. "For Molly and Rachel." Maybe we would figure out why I was blind from this letter? The note continued. "Hello! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I am a teaching assistant at Harvard University. I have been doing lots of important research and I have come to realize that I know how to stop climate change. I need your help. Meet me at the statuette by the city park.  We called an uber to come to pick us up from Molly's house. Molly still couldn't see and we didn't even know why. The uber came and the driver greeted us. "Hello! I hope you don't mind, but I am just learning to be a driver and I have an instructor." "
