The fallen world

IT is world peace and I have realized horribly that it was the worst mistake we could make. Karisa is hiding in the basement from PTSD and is screaming at the kettle like a crazy person. I quickly search on the computer for the email we have been awaiting. Our cat, a sinking roofer, watches the city as if it expects it to end. I have to say that I am quite disappointed. After fighting the "war to end all wars" The world is left in ruins. Kariss finally calms down and heads back to bed. After the room quite, I let out a deep sigh and read the paper. The nations may not be at war but the people are. A man has just been arrested for arson of a statue of George Washington after the historical figure was reported as racist in history. I set down the paper and look at the window where  I stare at the window overlooking at the city. Then I remembered the bangle bracelet, bright as the city I was staring out. From the one person, I had fallen in love with. Quitely I calm myself. I, questionably, was a therapist. I didn't enjoy it. So again I listened to the quiet and checked my wristwatch for the time. I thought of my manager. He was quite respectful and kind to me leaving a small part of my job enjoyable, but then an earthquake hits, shaking the apartment. There are never earthquates in zimbabwe.
