When nothing happened at all.

by Rothua | Score: 4850

One day absolutely nothing happened. Nothing nowhere happened at all. This was a problem, as most of the time something happened, so now the world was in a state of limbo, as it could not continue on, nor could it be detroyed. A childish shoemaker from chili who liked chilly chili had and idea to fiz this problem of nothing happenening at all. He could make a very small statue out of shoes, in hopes that such an object would help make things start to happen again. He already had all the required supplies as he was a shoemaker, so the base material was easy to get. Unfortunately an earthquake hit as he was halfway done with the statue, which detroyed all his progress. He no longer had the money or supplies to continue. He held  a fundraiser to get the needed supplies, which was a huge sucess, as the local comic book store were very enthusiastic about helping, as nothing happening meant that no one could buy their new comic book, simply titled x. X would have been very popular, but nothing happening put a damper on the sales of x. X featured a xylophone as a superhero and was geared towards small children. Once he had the fund and supplies again, he paid an unwilling astologer to play the pano in hopes of warding off any more earthquakes. On the final day he had to work on the statuette he served breakfast to both himself, and the astrologer who by now was an expert piano player. The world started to turn again, and things happened. The shoemaker was made immortal, as a reward.
