Battle was, of course, a serious thing. With magic, the tides could change in one instant. For example, when our guide to an important place, who apparently was a distant traffic warden, went blind. Obviously with magic, and in another instant he too, Richard, was blind. He quited the warden down when he started to freak out, though definitely not in a reasonable way, he wasn't good with people. Soon he heard someone drop down into the alleys with them, he expected a fight, but he was never touched. He couldn't say the same for the warden. After Richard practically clung onto the grimy wall for what seemed like forever and nothing at the same time, his eyes became of use again. The flash of color, objects, and lighting was so bittersweet. Quietly looking around, he saw no trace of the warden, he didn't really expect to see him. However, he did see a map scroll on the ground.
That encounter was two days ago, and he never saw the warden or attacker since. He at the moment was showing the map to Nella, while breakfast was being served. Quite quickly plates of pancakes, sausage, and fruit were served. Richard of course gave the sausages to Nella while she poured a bunch of syrup onto her hot classic breakfast. Richard began the important conversation again, stating they would need a sailor to get where the map is shown. Nella murmured, after fully eating her bite, that she knew a sailor who could convince their captain to help them. Richard answered he wasn't sure if any sailor would do, a mercenary ship would be best, Nella told them they itched for adventure. It seemed the plan was set after all.
