The Fake Bottle

by Rose | Score: 3200

"This is it," Vera says, as she carefully take ahold of the bottle which shimmered in her hands. It was light, but glowed, against the faint darkly-lit room. Her friends, Lena, and Erila were in the shadows, hustled about ready to get away. This was sneaky, but someone had to get the food poisoning.

"Well, we should get moving," Lena replies in a low whisper, "right...?"

Erila nods.

Slowly, in steps, they walked, trying to hide the bottle's glow, but then a noise came from a corner. Shatter. It must've been glass!

"Someone's here!" Lena exclaims in a dusky whisper.

"Uh-oh," Vera bent, and sped faster for the exit, but little did they know, that the bottle which broke was the real formula, as they had the replica.

"This is scary, do you think we should make a dash? Is it safe...?" Erida asks in a soft voice.

"Harry Potter feelings, just it's different."

Vera shivers.

"Wait..." Lena's eyes widen, "I don't know for sure, but it looks like they have a little bit of a trap. There seems like heat at the knob!!"

"Heat?" Vera and Erida says at the same time.

"I know, a pasta strainer gotta do then right!" Erida says
