Cave

by Destiny | Score: 3750

Damp, cold dark. I couldn't see anything, the only thing near me was my bag which contained one bottle of syrup, and a notepad and pen, and an extra tube of toothpaste. I was alone, I have no clue where the others are, we were all separated, and the only thing I heard at the time was rumbling before everything literally came crashing down around me. My brother who was accompanying me at the time was drunk, so I was more focused on him than anything else. Well except for the stranger who kept rattling on about facts and that he knew so much was because he was an average art historian. not that anyone really cared.
The cave we were in was old very old, so it's really not surprising that it collapsed, I just wasn't expecting it to happen while we were in there. Our zealous guide, who was also bragging about being a craftsperson, which really didn't fit the scenario we were in, helped us into the cave, he kept prattling on about his bed he made from scratch. No one cared.
