Warped World

by Harley N. Renaud, H.A | Score: 5850

the young boy walked towards the end of the block. He looked down at his wristwatch and realized how late it was. Once he turned the corner, he looked both ways to see if anyone was there then bolted right, towards the candy shop. He grinned as he grabbed out a hair pin to pick the lock. Then the whole world warped. Everything went crazy. Then, in front of the boy, A historian stood.. as the world warped once again, a man was seen robbing a bank on the news. The boy was confused. The world warped once more, and a young girl was seen, dusting the fireplace mantel with an old feather duster that appeared to be grey because of the dust collection. As the world warped again, the young boy yelled out for help. Then he was back where he started, at the candy shop.
The world warped again.
The boy saw a dentist. He was curiously tapping at his computer. Then, before the youngster knew it, the world had been warped again, and in the world, a plane was coming in fast, right towards the boy. It was defiantly crashing. He yelped, right as the world warped to another form. This time, he was at an older man's house, and an old radio was blaring about how the first 300-word essay had been submitted. As the world warped again, The young boy felt as if many years had passed and he was now a man. This world that he was warped to looked mean and musty, and there was a mean looking coach, but he seemed somber on the outside when he quietly told his players to stop goofing off.
The world changed again. How long would this go for?
In this world, it was a long and cold winter. lots of stuff on the news about hail and being hailed in. As the world warped a final time, The boy found himself in a small zoo exhibit with a small turtle.
Finally, the world changed back to where he originally was, The candy shop. He put away the pin, to afraid to break into the place.
He turned the corner.
