The day was cold and time went still when I saw Brekker walk in. He was thinner, but just as bold as he'd ever been. His smile was wide and wicked, but laced with the tiniest bit of fear. I hadn't seen or heard from him in 5 months since he began to design shoes oversees. I heard he had flirted with the duchess of Aromillia. It had even been rumored that he'd voyaged to Africa as an ambassador for a fashion line that donated money towards saving rhinos. "Help, my arm- he's got my arm" A cry rang from the distance. "Hey darling" Brekker smiled as he approached his former classmate, Eleanora. She glared at him, but thankful that he had come to her aid. Two of the roughens from the next town over had harassed her, but immediately defaulted when Brekker joined the occasion. "Why don't we head out?" "I'd sure love to it is- just my father is expecting me shortly, he's been at the office all day and a client needs me to drop off this prescribed toothpaste." "I'm going by the cleaners, I can drop you off if that's fine with you?" "Very kind- but I prefer the company of myself and the wilderness" she said as she elegantly darted off. As her silloheute vanished behind the thinking building lab, Brekker's expression dropped. "Another babe- gone" he huffed, as he kicked the concrete.
