They looked up at the sky. The burning ball in the sky growing bigger by the second. He cupped his hands around her face and tangled his fingers in her brown hair. He observed her face closely for the last time. She had grime on her lovely face and speckles of dirt. She always loved crafting and engineering things. "What is it, darling?" she asked him, tear welling in her eyes. "I love you, my dear." He told her firmly and kissed her lips. His lips tasted of honey and hers tasted of cigarette smoke.
